In an exciting update for the Unity community, OpenUPM has introduced an alternative hosting solution for the UnityNuGet registry. This change comes as Alexandre Mutel (@xoofx) has resigned from Unity, and as a result, the UnityNuGet Azure feed will be discontinued on March 10th. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Alexandre Mutel for creating such an awesome project that has greatly benefited the community.

What’s Changing?

With the discontinuation of the Azure feed, OpenUPM has stepped in by providing an alternative hosting service. The new hosting can be found at:
https://unitynuget-registry.openupm.com/

This service tracks the latest Docker image and is continuously updated. Although hosted on a small server, we’ll closely monitor its performance and scale up if necessary to ensure reliable service for the community.

Our main registry now uplinks directly to the new UnityNuGet registry, ensuring you can continue using the OpenUPM uplinks feature for seamless org.nuget package resolution.

Continued Support for UnityNuGet

We also want to acknowledge the ongoing dedication of Borja Domínguez (@bdovaz), who continues to maintain the UnityNuGet project. Developers can still submit NuGet packages to the curated list available at:

How You Can Help

Our resources are limited, and we greatly appreciate any support from the community. If you’d like to contribute, please consider donating via one of the following platforms:

Your support helps us continue to innovate and provide valuable services to the Unity community.

Thank you for being a part of this journey. We look forward to keeping you updated on future developments and improvements!
